The 23 Series is a joy to use!

When I first built my Fisher 202 I used a variety of other engines with limited success. I then looked at the 23 Series which came nearest to my requirements and it works great! Its so much fun to fly with. At the time of writing this I have 700 plus hours on the engine and its never been to the shop. I am still running on the original pistons, rings, bearings, seals cylinders and crankshaft. Other than regular maintenance no mechanical work has been required.

I average around 100 hours flight time per year and I have to say this engine is an absolute joy to use. It has given me many hours of trouble-free pleasure. I cannot recommend the Hirth Engines 23 Series enough!

A Wonderful Engine

I fly over an ocean of trees on my 100 mile plus cross-country flights here in northern Michigan. When I decided to replace the engine on my 1986 Kolb Firestar, I had a few requirements in mind. I wanted dual ignition and better fuel economy, not to mention extra horsepower. I found that the Hirth Engines 27 Series was a wonderful engine. I was very impressed.
